AAIB recently held its RAC (Regional Alumni Conference) from March 27th-30th at el Pueblo Resort and Conference Centre near Lima, Peru. 120 delegates from over 13 countries from the region participated in sessions and workshops around personal development, AIESEC-UN Sustainable Development Goals, and networking. Facilitated working groups were also formed around key focus areas to strengthen the association and its NAA’s (National Alumni Associations).
The OC did an amazing job putting this conference together, and were able to handle every challenge. Including making last minute logistical changes to accommodate the conference delegates in a new venue, due to flooding in the original location in Piura. Everything was perfectly coordinated, and delegates enjoyed an all-inclusive conference venue, beautiful warm weather and friendly Peruvian hospitality with Latin American energy.
Sessions were all simultaneously translated from Spanish to English to accommodate the non-AAIB delegates from Austria, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Poland and the USA. The future RAC conferences will be held in Argentina (2018) and in Bolivia (2019). To catch a glimpse of the amazing Latin American hospitality and energy make sure to attend the AAIC in Cartagena this July and/or the next RAC in Argentina in March 2018.
