It is my pleasure to present to you our March Newsletter. We have just returned from Venlo in The Netherlands, where most of AAI’s Executive Board, flew in from all corners of the globe. It was a highly engaging and productive planning session and we’ve prepared a special set of contents for you in this edition of our Newsletter.

We chose to have our planning meeting on the same site where Youth AIESEC was celebrating its International Presidents Meeting. This enabled us to touch base with AI and Global MCPs, strengthening our strategic partnership with AIESEC.

It was also an opportunity for us to meet with the board of AIESEC Alumni Europe who decided to do their planning meeting there as well. We enjoyed a motivated and productive crowd of Alumni around the world.

We had the pleasure of having a conference call with Alumni Leadership from the Asia Pacific Region while we were there.  We continue to develop our visioning process for “AAI Vision 2020+”, an ambitious framework to continue moving the association forward, which will be further discussed and defined when the global association meets up in AAIC in a few months.

During, a joint session with current PAI Niels and PAI elect Abdo, we discussed AAI Vision 2020+ and we were able to share our key programs as well as opportunities with the global plenary. 

Our joint initiatives will be continued during the upcoming conferences such as the RAC’s in Cote d’Ivoire, Peru, Italy, and Hong Kong. Culminating with an amazing AAIC in Cartagena, Colombia where we hope to see as many of you present as possible.
