|Professional Career||During my career I moved from a HR Management Intern to become a senior advisor to Division Presidents and CEOs of Fortune 100 companies. My accomplishments include being the voice for organizational change to help companies get to the next level in their development.
|AIESEC Experience||I was an officer in our local chapter at university and supported our goal of raising enough jobs in Houston so our entire membership could go on an internship, as well as recruited underclassmen as new members.|
|Alumni Experience||My AIESEC experience was in Barcelona Spain where I was part of a very international group of interns, about 20 students from 10 different countries, including Japan. It was a truly life changing in that I acquired a global perspective as I met new people with very different mores than mine. This experience set the tone for my work life after university, since after Barcelona I wanted a global career; and I succeeded in that effort.|
|What is your vision for AAI?||My vision for AAI is to help create a global network of alums that are active participants in fostering a global network for themselves, as well as a support system for new alums entering the global labor market.|
|What skills and perspective would you bring to the Executive Board?||My career has been in serving as an HR global leader for Fortune 100 companies. My knowledge and experience cover all sub-functional areas of HR as seen from a global perspective. During the last 25 years of my professional career my emphasis was on providing Change Management initiatives to ensure the strategic alignment between what a company wants to achieve to what it is actually doing; this was accomplished by using my problem-solving and creative skills to implement innovative solutions.|
|What, specifically, would you most like to work on as an EB member?||Change Management is my passion; therefore I believe my value and contributions would be to specifically continue with the work currently in place to strategically get to the next step in AAI’s evolution. I believe we must pull from existing resources to answer the following question: How does AAI evolve into a global support network? The answer to this question requires continuous communication and member engagement seeking fresh ideas, finding innovative solutions to current challenges and seeking out new opportunities to continue the evolutionary growth process.|
