It is with great pleasure that we showcase Victor H. Loewenstein, who was recently recognized with an AAI Lifetime Alumni Contribution Award at the AAIC in Porto. Victor is an outstanding example of an alumnus who has maintained a lifelong connection to AIESEC, contributing his leadership skills to AAI and AIESEC over the past several decades.
Victor is a proud donor to The AAI Seed Fund €10 X €10K Campaign, demonstrating his generosity and commitment to The AAI Transformation Project.
His AIESEC career began when he joined the Edinburgh LC, then worked in the UK National committee before being elected as the Secretary General of AIESEC in 1961-1962.
After his leadership role at AIESEC-International, Victor became Sales & Marketing Manager of Wynlit Pharmaceuticals, based in Zurich from 1963 to 1969. This was followed by a long and remarkable career at Egon Zehnder International, where he held roles of Consultant, Managing Partner, Regional as well as Senior director in five different countries between 1970 and 2003.
Victor has also been on the boards of Egon Zehnder and Principal Financial Group, a leading US insurance company. He is currently a board member of Banco Santander Switzerland, a private bank in Geneva.
In addition he has been on the Supervisory Board of AIESEC-International, Rotterdam (NL) and is the past-President of AIESEC Alumni International (AAI). Currently he is on the International Advisory Board of the University Leeds Business School. Mr. Loewenstein is presently engaged in personal consultancy and tuition projects with a number of European and US Business Schools.
