As Alumni, I’m constantly helping entities in growth marketing and consultancy for Digital Marketing, free of charge, working on a website for AAIC India and Egypt as well as being part of AAI as global web developer in-charge for website development and maintenance, together with previous Global and National Alumni experience as Alumni Coordinator
Please describe your professional experience and accomplishments.
In my professional career, I was working with my family in our 4 businesses, investing in start up’s as well as currently running my own small digital agency with 2 gym’s in my hometown
What is your vision for AAI?
As a connection bridge between current members and life-long members of our organization, our Alumnus. For the past few years, I’m seeing active going out from the organization and willing to stay connected and help out, but there’s no centralized place (AlumNet is still in development and need proper PR around it in order for people to start using it), working on pipeline of how to become active Alumni and constantly helping but what is most important connect with your friends from “old days” and make a movement, because once AIESECer, always AIESECer!
What skills and perspective would you bring to the Executive Board?
Transparency, simplicity, and creativity with a strong focus on re-engaging members & Alumni, showcasing what our Alumni are doing all around the network as good case studies, targeting all active alumni to invite their friends to reconnect!
What, specifically, would you most like to work on as an EB member?
I would like to work in Marketing field, since I think I have really strong connections in my network to push things from Alumni side, centralizing communication on the new website as one-to-go place together with AlumNet in order for people to stay connected with organization and connect with Alumni
Are you willing and committed to undertake responsibility for developing, implementing and overseeing specific tasks at AAI?
Yes – As I’m currently doing, just will continue
Will you be able to attend two in-person meetings per year and participate in weekly calls?
Yes – Note that in person meetings would be dependent on location and dates – Ideally if they can be held around the AAI conferences it would make things easier for me, and I am sure the other EB members. I have in the past attended at least two international or regional AIESEC Alumni gatherings.
