AAGC Taiwan Draws 203 Delegates from 23 Countries

AIESEC alumni from around the globe demonstrated their passion and energy again this August at the AAGC in Taiwan.  Attendees came together to make social and business connections, learn about Taiwan’s dynamic growth, discuss alumni business and get a large dose of AIESEC spirit!  The AAGC was held in conjunction with AIESEC Alumni Asia Pacific’s (AAAP) Regional Alumni Congress and AIESEC’s International Congress.

Hall of Fame Awards

AI and AAI were pleased to present the AIESEC Alumni Hall of Fame Awards, and the winners this year were:

  • Alumni Hall of Fame Award: Fredy Hawle Gilbert –  Peru, Miyoshi Huroki – Japan and Susanne Pfeuffer – Germany
  • Global AIESEC Contribution Award: Catherine Choplin – France
  • Global AIESEC Alumni Entrepreneurship & Leadership Award: Vinay Jaju  – India  and Moaem Ben Lellahom – Tunisia
  • Global Young AIESEC Alumni Contribution Award: Tomaz Klislewicz – Poland

Our congratulations and heartfelt thanks to this year’s recipients.  Each of them have made strong contributions to AIESEC and the alumni and set outstanding examples for all of us to follow.

The Organizing Committee of AIESEC Alumni Taiwan put together a first-class event, with outstanding speakers, accommodations, meals, logistics and parties.  With strong support from AAT’s Board and major corporate sponsors, the event met the highest standards.  All of us are extremely grateful to the AAGC Organizing Committee.  Great job!

The AIESEC Alumni movement continues to gather momentum, and AAGC was a fine demonstration of the important role that AIESEC plays in fostering lifelong connections and developing global leadership that has a real impact on the world.

Leadership under AIESEC values delivered for life!
