Dear AIESEC Alumni around the globe,
On February 14th, we were delighted to finally announce the launch of AlumNet, our new global online community platform, which we have built to achieve our shared vision: an active global leadership network, where hundreds of thousands of AIESECers can connect, collaborate and contribute to a better world.
AlumNet is the culmination of several years of planning and development, thousands of hours of volunteer time, over €100,000 in generous donations from alumni leaders and the hard work of our partners at Cooltribes and Profinda. We are deeply grateful to each of them for their commitment to this ambitious project, and to all of our volunteers, advisors and entity leaders who have supported this effort.
To register for AlumNet now, click here.
For individual alumni, the opportunities to engage with fellow alums on AlumNet are enormous, whether it be through our Global Business Exchange, Global Job Market, Global Meet-Ups or joining Groups related to entrepreneurship, social enterprise, leadership development and others. You’ll automatically belong to the official Group related to your country of residence, so you can make connections in your local or national alumni association.
For alumni entities at the local, national and regional levels, AlumNet is the key enabler for building and managing your communities online, through its multi-tier architecture. You can maintain your database, publish newsletters, run registration and membership campaigns, manage membership renewals, organize and promote events, take payments, publish photo galleries, create online document libraries and so much more.
While the possibilities with AlumNet are enormous, we will only achieve our shared vision through active adoption and engagement by our alumni entity leaders and individual alumni. Like most online community platforms, all content on AlumNet is user-generated, which means YOU are the secret ingredient that will make it a success. I encourage you to log on frequently and take an active role in building our community.
By actively supporting this launch and inviting your friends to register, we’ll achieve widespread adoption of AlumNet in the coming weeks and fulfill the promise of achieving our potential as one of the world’s premiere global leadership networks.
Let’s work together to make it happen!
Very best regards,
Andrew G. Rowe, AAI President
