ALUMnite in Palermo

IMG_3463Alumni of the local committee of Italy’s Palermo came together for an aperitivo  on the 25th of March. Spanning across different AIESEC generations, members met up in a scenic location at the heart of the Medieval Arabic Historical Center.

As one of the very first Italian cities to host an ALUMNite, the local committee of Palermo is also one of the oldest in its country. It has been active since the 1960s, with members continuously engaging with its growing alumni network. This meeting was unique than the LC’s long history of meet-up’s among members and alumni, for they had a special guest in attendance. Ken Phillips of the AAI board met and informed the alumni in attendance about GALI, along with the latest update of AAI. With support from Beatrice Pesci, President of AIESEC Alumni Italy as well as Toto Lombardo and Raffaele Scuderi, current members and various generations of alumni were in attendance at the event. In between tasteful drinks and various conversations, participants of the evening learned and shared about their vision for the role of Alumni in the association, and in the greater society.
